About Us
A New Approach
Aligned Technology was founded with the sole
intention of providing our clients with the value added
services needed to design, implement, and maintain process
and quality initiatives that would help companies in
meeting their strategic goals and objectives.
When it comes to process and quality, we take a holistic
approach to the problem working with firms to truly
define their needs and then to set meaningful, measurable
and achievable goals.
AT focuses on pragmatic software process and quality
improvements. We do not offer cookie cutter-one-size-fits-all
approaches that do nothing but ensure that you will
severely impact overall productivity as you struggle
to make your existing processes work within a rigid
framework.
Our mission is to collaborate with our clients to understand
what value added processes their organization needs,
and to make sure those processes have a positive impact
on the business. We apply established process and quality
improvement models and approaches in a non-dogmatic,
sensible way that fits the culture and needs of each
organization. Other areas of expertise include organizational
change management, vision and scope definition, requirements
engineering, risk management, quality assurance, quality
control, project management, metrics, and process assessment.

having participated on and coached Agile teams, is now a certified scrum professional. Bernie continues to mentor and coach on pragmatic software development best
practices.

Garth Andrews
I have been working in Software Development Process and Quality for the last 15 years across a wide variety of companies and
industry verticals. It has taken me many years and quite a few failures to finally realize that I am not in IT, I am in the people industry. I have a passion for helping
organizations change their way of thinking and doing things in order to realize a more efficient process for developing software. It has little to do with technology and
more to do with understanding the human condition.
Mr. Rush brings over 20 years of IT industry experience, with strong emphasis in the discipline of requirements management. He
has led efforts with several fortune clients in organizational transformation toward adoption of requirements management best practices resulting in measurable gains in
quality and time-to-market. His expertise includes pragmatic approaches to achieving success with requirements engineering based on use case-driven methods, UML, and
formal SDLC processes (Unified and Agile). Mr. Rush also brings a wealth of experience in formal integration of requirements management tool and process infrastructure
with other critical software engineering disciplines, enabling tight audit trails and traceability through design, code and test. Mr. Rush has a UML Professional
certification from the OMG as well as Scrum Master certification from the ScrumAlliance.
